Next Big Futures will be streaming its debut album “Amazon Live” in Australia, its first overseas release.
The album will be released on July 21.
The album, titled Amazons Living World (which was produced by The Rickshaws, which is currently owned by Sony Music), is the first full-length album from Next Big Generations.
It features guest appearances by The Roots, The D.O.C., The Notorious B.I.G., D.R.A.M. and more.
The band also plays at the Adelaide Opera House on July 14.
“It’s a celebration of our band,” said frontman Adam Smith.
“It’s like the start of something new for us.
We’re not the same band that we were when we started.
We have more people, more influences, more things that we’re into.
It’s not just one thing.”
Smith and co-writer Jason Hight, who is also on the album, say they plan to release the album online in the coming months.
“This is the beginning of a new chapter for us,” said Smith.
“[It] will be available to all Australians, but the big thing is to get the album out on the web as quickly as possible so that everyone can enjoy it.”
Smith also says the album will feature more than 30 covers and remixes from artists including The Roots.
“I can’t wait to get to work on this album with all of our fans,” he said.
